Job Summary

Arms Acres is seeking a highly motivated Addiction Counselor to join our team in Carmel, NY. The ideal candidate will establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with patients, visitors, and facility personnel while ensuring confidentiality of patient information.

The successful candidate will observe patient behavior, record observations, and follow direction from the immediate supervisor in crisis or emergency situations. This position participates in conducting room checks and documents appropriately.

Shifts Available:

Tuesday-Saturday 12am-8:30am, Friday & Saturday 12am-8:30am, Sunday & Monday 12am-8:30am. Full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities are available, with eligibility for shift and weekend differential.

Sign-on Bonus:

Full-time and part-time candidates are eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $2,000.

Requirements:

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) with a minimum of 1 year of experience in human services or healthcare is required. Direct patient care experience and knowledge of alcoholism and addiction are preferred.
