About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team at IHG Hotels & Resorts. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Swiftly and efficiently check guests in and out, handling room keys, IDs, and safety deposit boxes.
  • Communication: Provide exceptional communication skills to handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Problem-Solving: Utilize problem-solving skills to turn issues into opportunities, ensuring every guest leaves with great memories.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless operations and provide support when needed.
  • Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform other duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the front desk.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to turn issues into opportunities.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college or university degree a plus.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in a front desk or guest service position.
