Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a travel contract opportunity. This role is essential for delivering high-quality imaging services in a hospital setting.

Certification Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
  • ARRT (R) (CT) certification and an active Oregon State License are required.
Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing a variety of imaging studies, including general radiology and CT scans.
  • Administering intravenous (IV) lines as necessary for CT procedures.
  • Collaborating with the radiology team to ensure optimal patient care.
Work Schedule

This position involves:

  • Shifts scheduled from Friday to Sunday, 9:30 PM to 9:30 AM.
  • Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.
Unit Specific Information

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct an average of 15-20 CT scans and 20-30 radiology studies daily.
  • Utilize PACS (McKesson) and EMR (Meditech) systems for patient data management.
  • Work with an in-house radiologist during the graveyard shift.
  • Be prepared to float between CT and general radiology as needed.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in CT imaging.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This position is vital for maintaining high standards of patient care and imaging quality.
