ROLE SUMMARY:

The Apparel Sales Team Leader is instrumental in upholding brand standards and enhancing the teammate experience. Working closely with the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Team Leader serves as the in-store authority for their designated department.

This role emphasizes exceptional customer service while guiding fellow teammates. The ideal candidate will lead by example, demonstrating empathy, resilience, optimism, and collaboration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the recruitment and development of a strong team through participation in in-store interviews and departmental tours.
  • Fostering a people-first culture by engaging with every teammate to build trust and respect, contributing to a positive store environment.
  • Planning and organizing store operations with a 30-day outlook, ensuring effective execution of daily tasks and projects.
  • Strategically utilizing team members to meet brand standards and execute daily programs and processes.
  • Supporting store leadership with general supervision, including compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining merchandising and presentation standards, including adherence to established floor sets and inventory management.
  • Training teammates on company procedures, onboarding new hires, and cross-training existing staff.
  • Upholding loss prevention standards and ensuring compliance within the department.
  • Prioritizing personal and team development through hands-on coaching and mentorship.
  • Creating an inclusive environment where all individuals feel welcomed and respected.

Adherence to safety protocols and company policies is essential, along with a commitment to teamwork across the store.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift items weighing between 15 to 35 lbs. repetitively.
  • Capability to work extended periods standing or walking.
  • Comfortable working at heights exceeding 4 feet.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions for short durations.
