Job Overview:
As a Retail Product Specialist at MAXIMUS, you will play a vital role in managing product presentation within high-volume retail environments. This position is essential for ensuring that our products are effectively showcased and readily available to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
This role encompasses a variety of tasks including:

  • Arranging and replenishing merchandise on store shelves and displays
  • Rotating stock to maintain freshness and quality
  • Transporting products from storage areas to display locations
  • Utilizing equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks for efficient product movement
  • Setting up promotional materials and signage to enhance product visibility
  • Maintaining an organized and tidy backroom stock area
  • Communicating effectively with store management regarding any operational issues
  • Building and nurturing relationships with store personnel
  • Adhering to established operational procedures
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Working independently with minimal supervision
  • Using handheld devices for order management
  • Ensuring consistent attendance and reliability

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass a physical capabilities assessment (if required)
  • Access to personal transportation for multi-store assignments
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance

Preferred Experience:
While not mandatory, the following experiences are beneficial:

  • Prior experience in retail or grocery environments
  • Knowledge of inventory management and stock organization
  • Experience in merchandising and product display
  • Customer service experience, including handling inquiries and resolving issues
