Job Overview & Requirements- Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing
Position Details:
- Night Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Minimum Experience: 2 years in a similar role
- Required Skills: Experience with chest tubes, epicardial wires, and sheath/radial band management
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIH certification preferred
Additional Information:
- EKG Exam is mandatory for competency assessment
- RN-to-patient ratio is 4:1 during the day and 4-5:1 at night
- Familiarity with cardiac medications such as Amiodarone, NTG, and Cardizem is essential
COVID-19 Vaccination: Required, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons allowed.
