We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team at iMPact Business Group. As an Inventory Clerk, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring efficient stock rotation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Maintain proper inventory levels and accuracy on the shop floor, ensuring that all work areas are clean and organized in accordance with 6S principles.
  • Stock Rotation: Ensure FIFO (First in, First out) stock rotation and lot separation for required inventory items.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain inventory control of merchandise or materials, performing activities to ensure accurate counts and reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
  • Supply Chain Support: Assist with monthly cycle counts, counting materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock, and stock and distribute supplies, equipment, or merchandise as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1+ years of prior working experience in a warehouse/shipping and receiving environment or related experience and/or training.
  • Skills: Advanced math and analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field, and ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds, and work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.
