At McLane Company Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distribution Operations Manager to join our team in Contoocook, NH. This is a leadership role that requires the ability to motivate and direct a team of warehouse staff, with a focus on maintaining successful operations, ensuring adequate staffing, and promoting productivity, safety, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in distribution warehouse management, preferably in the grocery industry, and a bachelor's degree is preferred.

The Distribution Operations Manager will be responsible for implementing department procedures to meet company goals and standards, and for promoting those standards to the team. They will also be responsible for ensuring the work environment is maintained in a clean and safe manner, and for supervising and managing the daily work of department teammates.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Direct and motivate teammates to achieve company goals and standards
  • Implement department procedures to meet company goals and standards
  • Ensure the work environment is maintained in a clean and safe manner
  • Supervise and manage the daily work of department teammates
  • Provide training and coaching to teammates as needed
  • Enforce company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in distribution warehouse management
  • Experience leading large numbers of warehouse staff
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
