Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant/Scribe to join our team at Innovative Healing Systems. As a Medical Assistant/Scribe, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our medical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical assistant duties, including patient wound care under the direction of the provider, program director, and clinical manager.
  • Support the provider as a real-time scribe, accurately and efficiently documenting patient information into the EMR.
  • Escort patients to examination rooms, take vital signs, remove dressings, and position patients comfortably for nursing and medical examination.
  • Assist in delivering care with physician/nurse as needed, ensuring timely and efficient patient flow.
  • Provide real-time scribe services, utilizing strong verbal communication skills, EHR/EMR, medical terminology, and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work environment, and assist colleagues as needed.
  • Be prepared to work in the hyperbaric unit, with the ability to adapt to change and work well independently and with others in a team environment.
Requirements
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients, providers, and colleagues.
  • Experience with EHR/EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues as needed.
