Job Summary

Assists the physician in the invasive testing and/or treatment of patients in the Electrophysiology Lab. Responsible for providing specialized technical support and assistance to the physician in the precise diagnostic mapping of patient-specific lesions, related testing and treatment of adult and pediatric patients. This position troubleshoots equipment problems and works closely with Clinical Engineering staff to maximize the functionality of the equipment and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides technical support to the physician in the Electrophysiology Lab
  • Assists in the precise diagnostic mapping of patient-specific lesions
  • Responsible for troubleshooting equipment problems and working with Clinical Engineering staff to maximize equipment functionality and minimize downtime
  • Works closely with the physician and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of a two-year invasive cardiology program or IBHRE endorsed certificate or degree program (at least twelve month duration) or equivalent
  • Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire
  • National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
