Position Summary:

MRT-TCS, Program Management Office (PMO) Subject Matter Expert

Role Overview: The Master Resilience Trainer (MRT), Training Center Support (TCS) PMO Subject Matter Expert will contribute to the development, execution, assessment, and refinement of the MRT-TCS Program. This expert will be responsible for briefing and advising the Directorate of Prevention, Resilience, and Readiness (DPRR) HQ on resilience and performance enhancement strategies related to current and future curricula and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the Army Resilience Directorate, providing consultation on resilience and performance directly to DPRR HQ.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, evaluation, and improvement of the MRT-TCS Program.
  • Provide briefings and strategic advice to DPRR HQ regarding resilience and performance enhancement initiatives.
  • Engage in external meetings, conduct site assessments, and communicate program metrics to relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in program update presentations.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree from an accredited institution in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Counseling Education, Coaching Education, or Kinesiology with a focus on sport and/or performance psychology.
  • Preferred credentials include certifications or memberships in professional organizations such as the Association for Applied Sports Psychology (AASP) or Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC).
  • A minimum of three years of experience in teaching, coaching, or instructing resilience and performance enhancement methodologies.
  • Successful completion of a National Agency Check (NAC) with inquiries (NACI) Tier 1 background investigation is required.
  • Ability to maintain regular communication with government counterparts.
  • Experience in conducting Quality Control assessments and ensuring compliance with training standards.
  • Strong independent judgment and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Travel Requirements: Up to 25%

Physical Requirements: The role involves working in an office environment, which includes sitting, standing, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 10 pounds.
