We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Respiratory Care Intern to join our team at Froedtert Hospital. As a Respiratory Care Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced Respiratory Care Staff to provide high-quality patient care and support.
Responsibilities- Perform basic duties to support the Respiratory Care Staff in accordance with hospital objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with inventory and stocking of respiratory care equipment.
- Participate in equipment processing and cleaning training.
- Develop strong organization and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Current enrollment in an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program.
- Experience working in a patient care setting (hospital, nursing home) is preferred.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
