T&M Associates is seeking a highly skilled Staff Environmental Scientist 2 to join our team in Irvine, CA. As a key member of our environmental team, you will be responsible for assisting with client metrics, environmental sampling, and inspections, permit modifications and applications, chemical and waste management, as well as annual and quarterly reporting to Federal and State authorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and update Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plans and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans.
  • Compile chemical and waste data for Tier II and Form R reporting.
  • Provide project management support on environmental and safety projects.
Qualifications:
  • BS required, preferred in Environmental Science, Biology or Chemistry, Geology, or Engineering.
  • 4-6 years of related environmental project experience preferred. Experience with technical scientific writing a plus.
  • Familiarity with compliance regulations and interpretations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Current 40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety.
  • Must be a strong collaborator with excellent computer, verbal, and written communication skills.
