Overview
The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria is actively seeking a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to enhance our dynamic academic department. This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care while also educating and mentoring OB/GYN residents in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct patient care with a focus on Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery.
  • Instruct, mentor, and guide residents and medical students in clinical settings.
  • Participate in scholarly activities to advance the field.
  • Contribute to departmental projects aimed at improving patient outcomes and healthcare services.
  • Engage in additional responsibilities and special initiatives as required.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Certification in MIS-designated focus practice and/or completion of AAGL/SLS fellowship.
  • Eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Urogynecology.
  • Proven track record in mentoring and training medical professionals.
  • Interest or experience in research and academic leadership.
