Perishable Associate Job Description

As a Perishable Associate at Food Lion, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service within the Perishable Department. Your primary focus will be on maintaining high standards of quality and ensuring that all merchandise is properly displayed and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality customer service to customers within the Perishable Department
  • Maintain standards in accordance with the standard practice manual
  • Assist the department in maximizing sales through excellent customer service
  • Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with primary emphasis on fast, friendly, and accurate customer service
  • Ensure that ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning, and displaying of merchandise is done in accordance with company policies and procedures
