**About the Role**
Boardroom Appointments is seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Attorney Partner to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on commercial finance matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting Legal Research: Conduct thorough research on commercial finance laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide expert advice.
- Drafting and Negotiating Transaction Documents: Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including loan agreements, security agreements, and other commercial finance documents.
- Providing Regulatory Compliance Advice: Provide advice on regulatory compliance matters, including anti-money laundering and know-your-customer regulations.
- Portable Book of Business: Develop and maintain a portable book of business, including client relationships and deal flow.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial finance law.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong writing, research, oral advocacy, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A Juris Doctor degree.
- Admission to the state bar of Illinois.
