Certified Nursing Assistant Position

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will deliver high-quality nursing care while upholding the rights, dignity, and individuality of residents.
Your role will involve providing personalized attention and supporting residents in achieving or maintaining their optimal physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Your Responsibilities:
- Adhere to individualized care plans and communicate specific observations regarding residents' needs and preferences to care planning staff.
- Attend to residents' personal care needs, including grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance.
- Maintain skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers and other skin issues through appropriate care practices.
- Safeguard residents' personal belongings and report any missing items as per established protocols.
- Monitor vital signs, assist with specimen collection, and ensure safe transportation of residents.
- Document care activities in accordance with departmental policies.
- Follow safety and infection control guidelines.
- Engage with residents, families, and team members in a respectful and tactful manner.
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid CNA certification in the state of employment and have the ability to obtain CPR/BLS certification.
