About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Baker City, Oregon. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Main Operating Room.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surgical procedures for physicians and surgical staff under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Comply with safety policies and recognize and correct breaks in aseptic technique.
  • Perform equipment checks for proper functionality and review/update surgeon preference cards.
  • Gown and glove yourself and other members of the team.

Requirements:

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the NBSTSA required.
  • Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network required.
  • One year of scrub experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
