We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. This role involves preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and ensuring a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures.
About the Role:- Collaborate with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists to provide high-quality patient care.
- Serve as a mentor for new hires and radiology students, promoting professional development and growth.
- Participate in the orientation of new staff, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures, maintaining a high level of sterility.
- Identify and assess patient conditions, providing individualized care and attention.
- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology.
- Eligibility and/or current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) and/or Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiologic Technologist (CI).
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
The salary range for this position is $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
