We are seeking a skilled Trauma Social Worker to join our team at St. Francis Medical Center. As a Trauma Social Worker, you will play a critical role in providing emotional support and practical resources to patients and families affected by trauma.
Key Responsibilities- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to patients and families
- Assist patients and families in navigating the recovery process and accessing necessary resources
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement trauma-informed care plans
- Complete psychosocial assessments and maintain accurate clinical records
- Masters degree in social work
- Current state license required upon hire and maintained current
- Minimum of one year hospital or outpatient experience in mental health care
- Experience working with diverse populations and a wide range of problems
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained current
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and practices
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
