La Rabida Children's Hospital is seeking multiple full-time Respiratory Therapists to join our Respiratory Therapy department in Chicago, IL. We offer a competitive salary, including night shift differentials, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities- Administer therapeutic gases, medicinal and bland aerosols, bronchial hygiene procedures, noninvasive monitoring, and ventilatory support.
- Perform clinical duties of the Respiratory Care Practitioner consistent with the Hospital mission and scope of care.
- Provide high-quality behavioral health services to outpatient clients and their families.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved program of respiratory care.
- Experience with a variety of mechanical ventilators.
- CRT or RRT required.
- CPR is required.
- Illinois RT license required.
- Previous experience must include ventilators.
- Previous pediatric experience preferred.
