Job Title: Senior Associate Attorney

Job Summary:

Braun Blaising & Wynne, P.C. (BB&W) specializes in providing legal services on energy issues to public power entities. We are seeking a full-time senior associate attorney with 4-6 years of relevant experience to join our team.

About the Role:

• Represent clients in regulatory advocacy matters, including pleading work and oral advocacy in stakeholder forums and workshops.
• Participate in administrative and evidentiary hearings and agency workshops.
• Work as part of our regulatory compliance team.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have direct client interaction and will be expected to work independently and assume full responsibility as the lead attorney for certain matters. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in energy law and make a meaningful contribution to our firm's success.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of $190-235k per year, plus bonus opportunities. After no more than two years, and depending on performance and mutual interest, it is the expectation that the associate would be offered a shareholder position in the firm. Benefits include 4% BB&W match to employee contributions to a 401(k) plan, possible profit-sharing, paid health insurance, parental leave, vacation, and other general benefits.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in energy law.
• A strong understanding of regulatory advocacy and administrative law.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
