Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dentist to join our team at the Department of Health and Human Services. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, including routine check-ups, fillings, extractions, and other procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine dental exams, including visual exams, X-rays, and other diagnostic tests
  • Diagnose and treat dental problems, including cavities, gum disease, and other conditions
  • Provide preventative care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants
  • Perform surgical procedures, including extractions, root canals, and other complex procedures
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex dental needs
Requirements
  • Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited program
  • Current licensure to practice dentistry in a state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States
  • Ability to distinguish shades of color
  • Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a hospital or health center
Preferred Qualifications
  • Board certification in a specialty area, such as orthodontics or oral surgery
  • Experience with electronic medical records and other dental software
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
