Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Attorney with expertise in Labor & Employment law who is fluent in both English and Spanish. This role is ideal for a professional who excels in a dynamic and fast-paced legal environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking, exceptional negotiation skills, and a strong ability to manage intricate employment litigation cases. You will be instrumental in advocating for clients in various legal settings, including federal courts, mediations, and arbitration.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage a diverse array of employment-related cases, including wage disputes, discrimination claims, and wrongful termination matters.
2. Conduct thorough legal research to inform case strategies and provide clients with sound legal counsel.
3. Oversee all phases of case management, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction from initial consultation to resolution.
4. Represent clients in court, making appearances and presenting arguments effectively.
5. Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
6. Negotiate settlements that align with client interests and objectives.
7. Actively participate in mediations and arbitrations, advocating for client rights.
8. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to case management.
9. Stay informed on the latest developments in labor and employment law to provide clients with the most accurate advice.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.
2. 2-5 years of experience in employment litigation, preferably within a law firm.
3. Active state bar admission in good standing.
4. Proven track record in case management and client representation.
5. Proficient in legal research, document preparation, and drafting.
6. Experience representing clients in federal court and alternative dispute resolution settings.
7. Strong negotiation skills with a history of successful outcomes.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging effectively with clients and legal professionals.
9. Detail-oriented with robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
10. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
11. High standards of ethics and professionalism.
12. Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
