Job Overview

The Aircraft Maintenance Planner plays a critical role in ensuring smooth operations at Aero Support Group. This position involves planning and coordinating aircraft maintenance activities to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with customers to confirm their requirements and ensure they align with our maintenance programs.
  • Evaluate work requirements and available resources to optimize efficiency.
  • Compile work packages that include relevant directives, bulletins, and orders.
  • Manage technical data on our AAS system and maintain a record of revisions.
  • Source necessary tools and equipment and verify their availability.
  • Review and validate work packages before releasing them to the team.
  • Develop reports, attend meetings, and provide updates as necessary.
  • Monitor progress, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation for each customer.
  • Organize work packages according to schedule and ensure timely completion.
  • Verify Time and Material billed items align with estimated hours.
  • Update and finalize work packages daily, addressing any issues or discrepancies.
  • Support Lead Technicians by procuring parts, materials, and services as needed.
  • Close out work packages efficiently and effectively.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Meet the minimum age requirement (18+).
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Fluent English language skills (speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension).
  • At least 2 years of experience in aviation maintenance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Accurate scheduling and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities.
  • Prior experience with Aircraft Maintenance Systems and ERP software is advantageous.
  • A&P certification is highly desirable.
