Job Title: Director of Nursing

SKLD Whitehall is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services in our long-term care facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Supervise and manage the nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Monitor and analyze patient care data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Develop and manage the nursing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Recruit, train, and develop nursing staff to ensure a skilled and competent team.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
Requirements:
  • Current Michigan license as a Registered Nurse.
  • CPR certification.
  • Minimum of two years of professional nursing experience in long-term care, with a minimum of three years in nursing administration or a comparable management position.
  • Knowledge of CMS Federal Regulations and LARA Regulations.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
