Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse - LVN

As a Private Duty Nurse - LVN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the comfort of our patients' homes.

About the Role:
  • Provide one-on-one care to patients with complex medical needs, including tracheostomy, ventilator, and gastrostomy tube management.
  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care, conduct patient assessments, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies, and document care provided in our electronic system of record.
  • Health promote, teach, and train family members on patient care and management.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state in which you will practice.
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS.
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
  • Reliable transportation.
