Job Summary

We are seeking a Full-Time Certified Athletic Trainer to join our Human Performance and Sports Medicine Program (HPSM). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing athletic training services to NMUSD, including injury prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

  1. Deliver high-quality athletic training services to NMUSD, including injury prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation.
  2. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and treatment of student-athletes.
  3. Develop and implement effective injury prevention programs for student-athletes.
  4. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of student-athlete injuries.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, parents, and coaches to ensure timely and effective care.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in sports medicine.
  7. Work collaboratively with the Athletics Department to ensure compliance with NCAA and CIF regulations.

Requirements

  • Current certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in sports medicine or a related field.
