About the Role

As a Maintenance Associate at Sam's Club, you will play a vital role in ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of our facilities. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing routine maintenance tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and cleaning restrooms.
  • Ensure that all areas of the facility are well-maintained, including floors, windows, and trash receptacles.
  • Respond to spills and other maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment as needed to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies needed to ensure a safe and clean facility.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
