Salary may vary based on several factors, including location, individual qualifications, and internal equity.
Job Requirements:
Education:
Proficiency in the English language is essential, encompassing reading, writing, and speaking. Candidates must be Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in their medical specialty.
Experience:
Prior experience in the relevant specialty is preferred.
Licenses:
A valid State of Nevada Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic (DO) license is required, along with a Controlled Substance License to Prescribe issued by the State of Nevada and a Controlled Substance Registration Certificate from the DEA.
Certifications:
Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine or Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine. If Board Eligible at the time of hire, certification must be achieved within two years of employment.
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Certification Life Support (ACLS) is required, with preference for certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA), though online certifications from recognized organizations will be accepted.
