Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse to join our team at Bryan Health. As a Staff RN in our Medical/Surgical ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients and their families.

About the Role
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans based on patient needs and medical diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans that meet patient goals and outcomes.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding their health conditions, medications, and treatment plans.
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  1. Initiating assessment and reassessment of patients based on their presenting problems/needs in accordance with hospital procedures.
  2. Synthesizing pertinent initial and ongoing patient data to identify nursing priorities for care and desired outcomes/goals.
  3. Executing therapeutic and/or supportive interventions to promote patient recovery and well-being.
  4. Providing education for patients and families to meet identified patient needs according to their needs, abilities, preferences, and readiness to learn.
  5. Evaluating patient response to and effectiveness of interventions.
  6. Evaluating patient progress toward established outcomes.
  7. Incorporating cultural considerations into the plan/delivery of care.
  8. Including family or significant others in the care of the patient as appropriate.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Nebraska or approved compact state of residence as defined by the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act.
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.
  • Experience in an ICU setting is preferred.
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
