Job Summary

DK Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Professional, you will be responsible for protecting the site's building, grounds, assets, employees, and visitors against criminal activity, accidents, fires, and natural disasters. You will also provide outstanding customer service and work to protect the facility and employees of a local pharmaceutical company.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct foot patrols around the campus to ensure the safety and security of the site.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining client policies and enforcing rules.
  • Follow company and client policies, including reading and interpreting written post guidelines and procedures.
  • Use de-escalation techniques to defuse situations and maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Meet the qualifications and requirements outlined below.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in law enforcement, military, criminal justice field, and customer service.
  • Must be at least 21 years old or older.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have a current, valid Concealed Pistol License.
  • May not have any felony convictions and must be able to pass a criminal background check in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Must be vaccinated or willing to become vaccinated for COVID-19.
  • Must possess a 9mm or 40 caliber handgun along with a Level 2 or higher holster.
Benefits
  • Rate of Pay: $19.00/hour
