As a key contributor to our healthcare team, you will engage in a variety of technical procedures utilizing non-ionizing high-frequency ultrasonic waves at the request of physicians for the purpose of diagnosing and treating patients.
Responsibilities- Conduct various ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide clear explanations to ensure their comfort and understanding.
- Analyze images displayed on monitors, differentiating between normal and pathological findings.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
- Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound techniques through continuous education and professional development.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on business studies. Completion of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program or equivalent experience recognized by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers is required.
