The City of Kingman is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Director to join our team. As a key member of our Finance Division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of payroll functions, including timekeeping, calculation, and processing of payroll.
- Manage and process payroll liability payments and disbursements.
- Maintain the payroll system and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Oversee quarterly and annual payroll reporting processes, including 941 and W-2 reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Three to five years of experience in governmental or fund accounting.
- A minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
