Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Remediation team in our Bloomfield, New Jersey office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering remediation consulting services to our clients, working collaboratively with technical leaders across various practice areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume leadership roles on projects and within the department, developing strong relationships with the team and clients to drive business growth.
  • Communicate effectively with project team members, clients, site personnel, and office management, working independently and as part of a project team.
  • Lead business development efforts, rigorously applying safety policies and procedures, and managing technical, cost, and schedule elements of project delivery.
  • Effectively manage the quality of field efforts and project deliverables within the AECOM Quality Management System.
  • Develop new business, including marketing and proposing to potential and existing clients, and be integral in securing and managing clients and contracts.
  • Act as Project Manager on large, complex projects, responsible for technical delivery, schedule management, fiscal management, client liaison, reporting requirements, and coordination with project team members.
  • Coordinate and prepare written reports, work plans, and technical memorandums; analyze data and develop supported conclusions.
  • Review and approve NJDEP forms and submittals for compliance with NJDEP regulations and guidance as LSRP.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to increase project efficiencies, improve technical methodologies, and add value to client service offerings.
  • Assist with development and mentoring of junior staff through mentoring.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP).
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review.
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
