UROPARTNERS LLC is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will assist physicians in interventional procedures and provide diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with physicians to determine protocol and procedure for patient care.
- Obtain and record patient identification, medical history, or test results.
- Administer and record isotope dosage in accordance with established departmental protocol.
- Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate.
- Perform medical care as needed, such as administering oxygen, taking vital signs, and giving emergency treatments.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Maintain, clean, and report any issues with equipment.
- Administer appropriate high-quality, patient-focused health care.
- Operate imaging equipment and other ancillary equipment properly and safely.
- Practice correct radiation protection, shielding, and collimating, and proper exposure factors on each patient.
- Complete exams in a timely and efficient manner and evaluate each film for acceptable technical quality.
- Accurately, efficiently, and completely document all clinical patient care data.
- Participate in department quality improvement activities, staff educational programs, attend departmental meetings, and demonstrate and maintain clinical competency in the delivery of patient care services in accordance with Company guidelines.
- Perform other position-related duties as assigned.
- Associate Degree in Radiography. Graduate of Accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- License and certification as required by state.
- Valid ARRT Certification in Radiography.
- BLS certification required, ACLS preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiologic Technologist experience required; urology experience strongly preferred.
