Job Title: Acute Care Occupational Therapist

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled Acute Care Occupational Therapist to work at a partnering hospital in Anchorage, Alaska.

Job Description:

As an Acute Care Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain and maintain the skills they need to live and work independently.

You will provide OT treatment and patient care according to facility guidelines, utilizing effective communication skills to work with patients, their families, and other caregivers.

Additionally, you may be asked to delegate and supervise occupational therapist assistants.

Contract Details:
  • $2,120 – $2,170 per week*
  • 13-week contract with possibility of extension
  • Hospital
  • Occupational Therapists will work with patients to help them regain and maintain skills
  • Occupational Therapists will provide OT treatment and patient care according to facility guidelines
  • Occupational Therapists will need to have effective communication skills for working with patients, their families, and other caregivers
  • Occupational Therapists may be asked to delegate and supervise occupational therapist assistants

Requirements:
  • Current Occupational Therapy licensure in Alaska
  • BLS
  • Experience: Minimum 1-year as an Occupational Therapist
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and facility personnel

Supplemental Health Care will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable local, state, or federal law.
