Your Responsibilities:

Conduct assigned system commissioning utilizing Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools. Diagnose and resolve fundamental HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control issues.

Respond to basic warranty inquiries.


Your Approach:

Load software for system-level controllers. Execute basic commissioning and system diagnostics from controllers to end devices (e.g., sensors, actuators) and complete all necessary commissioning documentation. Keep management and contractors informed of job status and challenges. Calibrate systems using basic electronic testing equipment.

Complete administrative duties, including time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.

Document modifications and provide information for as-built records. Communicate with contractors or customers upon arrival and before departing the work site. Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in required safety training.

Maintain a high regard for the safety of employees and subcontractors.


What We Seek:

Required:

  • Demonstrated technical proficiency.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws).
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and listening abilities.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Preferred:

  • Two years of experience in installing electronic and/or mechanical systems.
  • Proven knowledge of HVAC systems.
  • Experience in programming is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with building automation systems.

Compensation:

The hourly rate will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment.
