Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL driver to join our team at Waste Pro. As a Residential Driver, you will be responsible for operating a refuse collection vehicle on pre-assigned routes to collect garbage, yard waste, and recycling. You will also be responsible for overseeing the work of helpers, performing pre-trip and post-trip truck checks, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a refuse collection vehicle on pre-assigned routes to collect garbage, yard waste, and recycling.
  • Oversee the work of helpers assisting on assigned routes.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip truck checks and cleaning.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for residents.
Requirements
  • Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and push/pull independently 800-1000 times a day.
  • Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions.
Work Environment

As a Residential Driver, you will work in a variety of environments, including residential zones, and will be exposed to wide temperature and weather variations, including heat, cold, snow, rain, and wind. You will also be exposed to noise and vibrations, fumes, odors, and dust.
