Lead the Community Foundation of Mendocino County

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to serve as the President and CEO of the Community Foundation of Mendocino County. As the chief executive officer, you will be responsible for the overall well-being and growth of the organization, ensuring that our philanthropic efforts to improve the region remain at the core of everything we do.

About the Role

The President and CEO will have the opportunity to lead one of the top philanthropic organizations in the region, working in close partnership with the Board of Directors, a total staff of 8, and direct supervision of 4 team members. This leader will demonstrate a visionary outlook, a strategic mindset, and an empathetic heart, ensuring that our philanthropic efforts to improve the region remain at the core of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and improve organization-wide strategies across fiscal, operational, donor development, marketing, and programmatic areas.
  • Lead the Community Foundation's overall well-being and growth, ensuring that our philanthropic efforts to improve the region remain at the core of everything we do.
  • Work in close partnership with the Board of Directors, a total staff of 8, and direct supervision of 4 team members.
  • Demonstrate a visionary outlook, a strategic mindset, and an empathetic heart.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leadership experience, a deep understanding of philanthropy and community development, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
