Job Description Summary

As a key member of the IT Corporate Finance Reporting team, we are seeking an experienced OFSAA Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and working with our Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) 8.0.6 and OFSAA 8.1 systems, ensuring all IT SDLC processes are documented and practiced, and working closely with the finance business team on process improvements and enhancements requested to the data, software, and cross-impact other bank applications as code and processes change.


The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience supporting OFSAA 8.0.6 and OFSAA 8.1, with a strong background in Unix/Linux scripting, ETL, PL/SQL programming, and SQL Developer, Toad experience. They will also possess a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of Data Warehouse experience, as well as 5+ years of application development and implementation experience. Additionally, they will have a strong understanding of bank terminology and finance-related topics, with excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and analytical skills.


The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, developing, patching/upgrading, and customizing the following modules: OFSAAI, OFSFTP, OFSPM, data mapping of staging and reporting, EDW to OFSAA, T2T development, and performing other duties as needed in support of the overall Data Warehouse implementation. They will also work closely with finance to evaluate monthly business requirements, participate in efficient development, delivery, and deployments, and understand the banks' financial statements and how the attributes of those financials interact together.

Responsibilities include:
Configuration, development, patching/upgrading, and customization of the following modules: OFSAAI, OFSFTP, OFSPM

Data Mapping of staging and reporting, EDW to OFSAA, T2T development

Perform other duties, as needed in support of the overall Data Warehouse implementation.

Working closely with finance to evaluate monthly business requirements, participate in efficient development, delivery, and deployments

Understanding of the banks' financial statements and how the attributes of those financials interact together

Basic Qualifications:3-5 years supporting OFSAA 8.0.6 and OFSAA 8.1

Basic Unix/Linux scripting experience

ETL, PL/SQL programming experience

SQL Developer, Toad experience

Bachelor's degree

5+ years Data Warehouse experience

5+ years of application development and implementation experience

Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of financial services/banking experience

Oracle Financial Services Analytical Application (OFSAA) experience

Basic Unix/Linux experience

ETL, PL/SQL programming experience

SQL Developer, Toad experience

Erwin Data Modelling Experience Required

Experience in merging models from different OFSAA instances

Zena Enterprise Job Scheduling knowledge

Experience in OFSAA patching, monitoring, and performance tuning

Extremely Strong understanding of bank terminology and finance-related topics

Ability to work independently and multitask within a collaborative work environment

Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and analytical skills
