The Registered Nurse NICU II is a critical role in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at North Suburban Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in neonatal care.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- Neonate Resuscitate required within first three months of hire.
- STABLE Preferred.
