Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mitigation Technician Level 2 to join our team at Summit Contractors Group LLC. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to our customers, exceeding their expectations, and fulfilling our company's contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform emergency mitigation, trauma cleanup, mold abatement, and emergency board-up services for both commercial and residential projects.
  • Communicate effectively with all parties involved in a claim, ensuring timely and profitable delivery of services.
  • Lead large or complex projects, including commercial projects, and ensure that all team members are held accountable to Summit standards.
  • Write scopes and estimates as needed, perform basic equipment maintenance, and inspect completed work.
  • Supervise technicians in the performance of company services on projects, provide training, and hold personnel accountable for company procedures, reporting, and services.
  • Assist in the continued development of services, processes, and systems deployed by Summit's Emergency Mitigation team.
  • Perform quality control on active projects and ensure that all personnel follow basic tool, equipment, and material load inventory lists.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2-4 years of industry experience.
  • Adequate math skills to determine equipment type and number of units, compute percentages, and verify the reasonableness of estimates, financial data, and reports.
  • Demonstrated basic proficiency in the use of computers, computer software (especially MS Word, Excel, and applicable job management software), email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.
  • Certification in performing appropriate services, such as Water Mitigation, Mold, etc.
Working Conditions

The work of this position is predominantly carried out on the customer's property, where you will encounter facilities with standing water and sewage, heat unavailable due to lack of utilities, fire damage, and mold or other organic growth. Daily exposure to the shop where vehicles and equipment are housed and maintained is typical.

Noise level in the work environment can be loud, requiring hearing protection.
