Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Financial Auditor to join our team at KPMG. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for conducting financial statement audits and providing assurance on the accuracy and reliability of client financial information.

About the Role

The Junior Financial Auditor will work closely with senior auditors and clients to identify and mitigate risks, develop and implement audit strategies, and prepare high-quality audit documentation. You will also have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and develop your skills in areas such as data analysis, technical accounting, and communication.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct financial statement audits and provide assurance on the accuracy and reliability of client financial information.
  • Work closely with senior auditors and clients to identify and mitigate risks, develop and implement audit strategies, and prepare high-quality audit documentation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Accountancy or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is preferred but not required.
