Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the care of patients admitted to the hospitalist service, working in conjunction with consultants and subspecialists.
- Engage in a multidisciplinary approach to patient management, facilitating effective communication among healthcare team members.
- Assist in the transition of care for patients returning to outpatient settings, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
- Participate in clinical and research initiatives, contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge and practice.
- Support patient-centered care through collaboration with case managers, social workers, and pharmacy teams.
Qualifications:
- MD/DO or equivalent degree.
- Board eligibility in Internal Medicine and/or Family Medicine.
- Willingness to work in a 7-on/7-off schedule to maintain high standards of patient care.
