The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care to residents in our long-term care facility. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate and personalized care to our residents.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to residents of all ages, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
- Assess residents' physical and psychosocial needs, and develop care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, and document resident interactions and outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents.
- Participate in resident education and counseling, under the direction of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
