We are looking for an individual with a strong background in sheet metal fabrication and CNC Laser Programming to take on a Project Manager position with significant growth opportunities.
Role Overview
As a Project Manager in our custom fabrication shop, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Project Management: Oversee daily project operations, ensuring seamless execution from initiation to completion.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with internal departments (design, production, quality assurance) to facilitate smooth project delivery.
- Quality Control: Establish and uphold quality assurance protocols and inspections to maintain our esteemed standards.
- Logistics Management: Supervise logistics, manage shipping timelines, and expedite materials and processes to adhere to project deadlines.
- Client Relations: Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and surpassing expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Educational Background: A degree in a technical or business field is highly preferred.
- CNC Laser Programming Experience: Proven proficiency in fabrication and software related to laser cutting operations.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, models, and specifications. Familiarity with CAD and Metamation is preferred.
- Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role is essential.
- Expediting Skills: Expertise in expediting materials, addressing bottlenecks, and ensuring timely project delivery.
- Inspection Knowledge: Understanding of quality control and inspection practices for sheet metal fabrication.
- Logistics Acumen: Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management to support efficient project execution.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
