Medical Staff Coordinator PAMC MedStaff Admin

As a Regional Medical Staff Services Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring timely and complete processing of all applications, status changes, and additional privileges for members of the Medical Staff.
Under the direction of the Regional Medical Staff Services and Peer Review Manager, you'll initiate, coordinate, and maintain credentialing and privileging functions. Your primary objectives will be to maintain an accurate database of privileged practitioners, process all applications efficiently, and ensure a high level of integrity and confidentiality at all times.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in a healthcare-associated field or equivalent educ/experience
- 4 years of Progressive administrative or office management experience
- 1 year of related experience in a medical staff services/credentialing, acute care, medical office or other health care facility
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-associated field or equivalent educ/experience
- CPCS-Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist and/or CPMSM-Certified Professional Medical Services Management upon hire (If not already certified, certification shall be obtained within 4 years from date of hire)
- 1 year of experience working with senior level or executive management
- 1 year of experience in a medical setting with experience in medical terminology
