Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently perform work specified on repair orders in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Conduct test drives and utilize diagnostic tools to assess vehicle components and systems.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Communicate directly with Service Advisors to keep customers informed about additional services needed and provide time estimates for repairs.
  • Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred 2+ years of experience as a Service Technician
  • ASE Certification required
  • B level qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive and friendly demeanor with a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with effective collaboration skills
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and service procedures
  • Proficient in operating electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening and background checks
