Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Culinary Artist to join our team at Juniper Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and executing dishes that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients and execute dishes for lunch and dinner service according to Juniper's standards of excellence.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine and fellow kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive team dynamic.
  • Support inventory and delivery management, ensuring proper organization of dry goods, walk-ins, and storage areas.
  • Contribute to culinary creativity by working with the team to explore new techniques, ingredients, and presentations.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older and have a valid Tulsa Food Handlers Permit.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and working in a kitchen environment.
  • Ability to read and follow recipes accurately, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to cleanliness and detail.
